14 September 2026NewCoupons under Sales. Make a discount code inside Pulse, pin it to certain passes or plans, give it an expiry and a use limit, and it works on the pass checkout and the join page. Codes now work on memberships as well as passes.
NewSee how your active members pay. The dashboard's Active Members tile now breaks the number into autopay, manual, passes and no billing, and the Members page has a billing filter so you can pull up everyone on a pass or everyone still to set up payment.
NewHide the menu items your gym does not use. Owners see an eye on each row of the menu; a hidden row moves to a Hidden section at the bottom and comes back with one click, and staff see the trimmed menu.
NewDay passes can be sold only between set hours. Outside them the pass shows as off sale with when it is back, cannot be bought, and a payment page opened inside the hours closes when they end. And Prepaid > Settings has an "At the door" line (door code, towel) that buyers see on their pass and in the email.
NewMembers > Check-In is live. New check-ins appear at the top as they happen, with the member's photo, and a switch on that tab pops up each new check-in on that computer wherever you are in Pulse, so reception sees who just walked in.
ImprovedOn the Schedule, click the date between the arrows on the Instructors, Week and Month views to jump straight to any day, week or month.
NewA Check in button on the member's record. Click it to check them in from the desk; once they are in for the day it shows the time with a green mark, so you can see at a glance who has already been in. And on Members > Check-In, "Show a test pop-up" lets you preview the pop-up before switching it on.

NewOnline sign-up now takes payment: a member joining on a membership plan pays through Stripe Checkout and is added to Pulse once it completes. The join page asks for the plan first, then their details, and is built for a phone.
NewSign-up can require a photo and a phone number, and ask for a local address or accommodation and where they heard about you (Settings > Kiosk Mode). The photo shows on the kiosk at check-in, and staff can take, upload or remove it on the member's record.
NewAdd Member ends with a payment step: text or email the member a link to pay on their phone, or open the checkout at the desk. A paid member lands on a welcome page, and until their first payment lands, or you record that they pay manually, they show as Pending.
NewFamilies on the Members list: each child sits under their parent, and a member's parent or guardian can be set from their Details tab.
NewTrack a member's progress from the Progress tab on their record: assess them, set goals with dated checkpoints, check in and reassess.

14 August 2026The operations release: bank direct debit for member billing, cancellations that respect the period a member already paid for, a sign-up that collects every agreement before it takes payment, and a Money view that shows what is left after wages.
NewBank direct debit for member billing (Australia): switch it on yourself from the Billing tab instead of emailing support, and new gyms get it as part of Stripe onboarding. Members can pay from a bank account instead of a card, which costs less to process, and Pulse records each member's Direct Debit Request agreement as they sign up. The Billing tab tells you if that agreement still has placeholder business details in it.
NewA real place to fix a failed payment: a member in arrears now gets a link to their own secure payment page, where they can update their card or pay the outstanding invoice. The link rides the arrears text message and email, and shows as a QR code on the kiosk. Access comes back the moment the payment clears, and the link expires after seven days.
ImprovedCancelling a member now ends their membership at the end of the period they paid for, not that instant, and you can undo it any time before the date arrives. You can also set a specific last day. Nobody loses access they have already paid for, and a change of mind no longer means a fresh checkout at today's price.
NewPlan terms and early cancellation fees: give a plan a minimum term in Settings > Plans, and Pulse warns staff before cancelling a member inside it, with the term shown so they can proceed in one click. An early cancellation fee now goes through the register, so you choose how it is collected: cash, terminal, keyed, the member's saved card, or recorded as owed for the front desk to collect later.
NewSignup discounts replace promo codes: record a discount percentage against the member on the new Plan step of the Add Member wizard, the way gyms actually negotiate them. Every recurring charge is discounted and signup fees stay at full price. The membership screen itemises plan, discount, any signup fees, what is due today and what recurs, so nobody has to do the arithmetic in front of a member.
NewThe Add Member wizard is now Details, Plan, Agreements, Payment. The Agreements step shows a ticked checklist of everything due for that member: the liability waiver, the membership contract signed right there, and any form you marked Required at sign-up. Payment waits until they are all done, staff can step back to fix an earlier answer, and a waiver signed against the wrong member can be redone instead of standing on file forever.
NewContracts and forms get a home in Settings: build, edit and activate your contract templates and gym forms in Settings > Contracts & Forms, with starter templates ready to use on a fresh gym, and mark any form Required at sign-up. The tab on a member's profile is now purely their records, what they have signed and what they have submitted.
NewNamed class calendars: group classes under their own calendar, like a Swim School running inside a gym, each with its own colour on the schedule. Filter the timetable to one program, and publish that program's timetable on its own. Classes you already have are untouched.
NewChoose which plans can book each class, so a regular gym member cannot self-book into Squad Swim. Members still see the class, with an honest note that it is not available on their membership, and your front desk can always book anyone in. Classes stay open to every plan unless you change them.
ImprovedThe members list stops contradicting itself. A banned member reads Banned and an unfinished sign-up reads Incomplete, with the membership state as secondary text instead of a second chip arguing with the first. The Plan column shows where each member really stands too: past due, cancelling on a date, paying manually, or a discounted price that is what they actually pay.
FixedA banned member is now banned everywhere. They no longer receive marketing, invites, surveys or reminders, the Access Control bulk sync no longer hands their fob back, and you stop paying for the capacity slot they were holding.
NewPayroll and labour cost, behind a new Finance permission: pay rates now keep their history, so a past pay period is worked out at the rate that applied at the time. New surfaces show the staffing cost of a class, your roster against actual demand by day and hour, PT commission per trainer with a self-view for the trainer, and estimated wages as a percentage of revenue on your dashboard. Export a pay period as CSV for any payroll system. Finance is off by default for every staff role, including staff titled Owner, so only the account owner sees pay until you tick it.
NewReports opens on Money: one page that tells the story in order, with a date range and a compare-to-previous-period toggle. Revenue, recurring revenue, arrears outstanding and gift card liability across the top, money in by stream, then expandable sections for revenue detail, what you are owed, liabilities, labour, and members and money, each with its own CSV export. It replaces the old Financial tab.
NewXero goes deeper (Pro plan): Pulse reads your profit and loss to bring in expenses, then turns them into a profit figure, a break-even day for the month, and the revenue you need per member to break even with every plan priced under it listed, cheapest first. Every number names its source and its date, and says plainly when it is an estimate rather than a figure from Xero. A Xero login with several organisations now asks which one to use. You will need to reconnect Xero once to grant the new reporting permission.
NewBody and effort data, only with the member's permission: members grant or revoke access from a My data tab in the member portal, every source off by default, and revoking permanently deletes what was stored. Import body scan history from Evolt or MyZone by CSV, where rows wait unlinked until that member consents. Members get a progress story built only from their real history, coaches see trends for the members who chose to share, and Retention gains an engagement tile that stays aggregate and hides itself below five linked members. Under-18s are excluded from linking entirely.
ImprovedSigning in got simpler. Your password still works, and an emailed code now sits beside it as an equal option, so nobody is locked out waiting on a reset link. Forgot password sends that same code and lands you in Settings to set a new one. New gyms sign up with a code first and can add a password later, the password rule is now simply twelve characters or more, and the whole sign-up and onboarding flow was rebuilt to work properly on a phone.
ImprovedAustralian GST on your Pulse subscription: the plan price you see is now the total you pay. Core is $199 a month including GST, and every invoice carries the GST line so you can claim it. Nothing about how your gym bills its own members changed.
ImprovedGetting around: Reports gets a grouped side rail with a Jump to a report filter and a proper sheet on mobile, the dashboard sidebar collapses to give a wide table room to breathe, and short pages on a phone no longer scroll into empty space.
FixedThe notification bell updates the moment a lead or a message lands instead of on a timer, and clicking a notification opens that lead or conversation. Payment Due Alerts and Contract Renewal reminders now actually send, having previously saved a setting nothing read. Member profile dates render in your gym's timezone. Five high-severity dependency advisories were closed, including one in Next.js.
AIPulse Help and the Learn guides cover everything in this release, including payroll and labour cost, the Money view, Xero profit reporting, body and effort data, and the new class calendars. The getting-started checklist grew to five items and still hides itself once you are done.

8 August 2026Pulse becomes a roster of agents: fourteen named agents that watch your gym, show you what they would do before they ever do it, and prove what they earn. Rolling out gym by gym.
NewThe Agents page: your staff roster of fourteen agents across money, front desk, retention, growth and back office, each with a plain-English job description, its own trust dial, and an activity log where every action carries the reason. The page opens with three queues: what Pulse did, what it recommends, and what needs your approval. Rolling out gym by gym; your gym gets it when it is switched on for you.
NewThe outcome scoreboard: agent actions are tied to real results, dollars recovered, members saved, leads converted, hours returned, and each agent's card shows what it produced this month. First on the board: win-back now records a member as saved when they return after its outreach, counted honestly as correlation with the message, never a guess at revenue.
NewFour defensive agents in preview: Cancellation Saver, Milestone and Love, Review Farmer and Referral Engine. All start Off. In Preview they show exactly who they would contact and what they would say, and nothing sends. Nightly, deduplicated, and every candidate carries its reason.
NewLead Responder previews: drafts the first reply it would send each new lead and the nudge it would send a stalled one, built only from real enquiry details. Your pipeline analytics now show speed to lead for the last 30 days, including the median time to first reply and how many enquiries never got one.
NewEquipment passports: every machine gets a QR identity you can print as an A4 sheet. A scan shows the machine's name plate; staff see warranty state, service history and faults on the asset, and Equipment Guardian previews expiring warranties and faults that have sat open too long. Rolling out with the same gym-by-gym switch.
NewWatchdog agents in preview: Revenue Leak Finder (active members with no working billing behind them), Class Filler (waitlisted members while spots sit open in the next 48 hours), Compliance Chaser (active members missing a signed waiver) and Roster Drafter (upcoming classes with no instructor assigned).
ImprovedAgents never nag: one weekly email carries every agent's report, cards tell you plainly when an agent has been previewing for 60 days without earning a promotion, and every number Pulse shows now has one written definition.

5 August 2026Members can move to a plan on a different billing schedule right from the app, switching cleanly when their current period ends, and the member app now wears your gym's colour.
NewPlan switching across billing schedules: a member on a plan you no longer offer (say, legacy monthly at a gym that now bills weekly) can pick a current plan themselves. The switch takes effect when their paid period ends, so nobody is charged twice or part-refunded, and they can change their mind any time before it happens. Rolling out as members update to app version 1.3.0.
NewYour gym's accent colour in the member app: pick a colour in Settings > Member App and members see it on buttons and highlights. No colour chosen means the app keeps its clean monochrome look, and text stays readable on whatever colour you pick.

4 August 2026Pulse now spots members whose visits are slipping before they disappear, and asks your approval before it acts: risk tiers on Retention, a four-step trust ladder for win-back, and an agent report in your Monday email.
NewRisk tiers (Retention, Grow plan): every night Pulse compares each member's recent visits against their own two-month pattern and flags decline early as Watching, At Risk or Critical, with the reason in plain English ("Visits dropped to 1.6 a week, down from a baseline of 2.5"). Members need a real pattern first, so Pulse never guesses a tier from a handful of visits.
ImprovedAt-Risk Win-Back now has one plain control instead of separate toggles: Off, Preview (see who the agent would contact, nothing sends), Approve each (you approve every message before it goes), or Autopilot. Your gym stays exactly where your current settings already had it.
NewMembers whose visits have gone completely quiet now enroll in win-back automatically alongside the long-inactive rule, through the same protections: opt-outs, send windows, no double-ups, and your approval setting always respected.
